Bloom Description
Volunteer reports: Initially reported by community member and the bloom was much thicker/brighter/larger when reported. When I arrived it had thinned out and dissipated significantly although it was still present enough to collect a sample (speckling, light streaking in water). Blooms could be seen from Route 89 along the shoreline on the drive north from Sheldrake/Ovid area to the homeowners address in Varick. Bad HABs day.
