Bloom Chemistry
[1] Genera - plural of genus, a category of classification in biology that ranks between the family level and the species level. Because there are many different species of bacteria that are difficult to distinguish, it is more useful to classify bacteria by genus rather than species.

Bloom Description
Bloom was close to shoreline where the water or wave action blocked it from moving. Our old dock, pile of rocks caused it to accumulate on the south side but the northside was relatively clear. A little further north, another rock pile blocked the wave action and it built up again. Bloom was first spotted by a neighbor about 1000 ft north of this property.
