Bloom Description
Volunteer reports: Returning from an evening cruise down to the Girl Scout Camp and back and encountered this slick about 300 yards off shore around 7:45 PM. It was one of those strange conditions where it looks like there is a shear line/current well out from shore. The white foamy sections were in semi continuous patches. It was right on sunset so I did not try and define the north south limits but it looked to be as far as I could see both north and south in dwindling light. The water on the shoreline showed no sign of a bloom at our dock-clarity looked good.
