Bloom Chemistry
[1] Genera - plural of genus, a category of classification in biology that ranks between the family level and the species level. Because there are many different species of bacteria that are difficult to distinguish, it is more useful to classify bacteria by genus rather than species.

Bloom Description
A HAB in this location was reported 8/13/24 which had broken up in the later afternoon with increased wind and water turbulence. There was no accumulation of bloom on the surface in the following early morning but when we returned to the lake after noon the bloom was visible again.
