Bloom Description
This bloom was reported twice; once from Poplar Beach Rd. and once from Lower Lakewood Dr. The sample that was collected and tested came from Lower Lakewood Dr. This was a large HAB that bloomed all along the docks of the road. A lot of it may have floated in around mounds of seaweed which came from the center of the lake. The mounds were surrounded by white foam which became streaked as soon as it came close to shore. A lot of the streaking hung down into the lake.
