Bloom Description
South of the Spotted Sandpiper. Isolated green blooms in pockets along shore and docks that are protected from the wind. Surveyed the full area at 12 o'clock. No wind and sunny. Lots of pre bloom indicators in terms of green specs in the water and bubbles around the docks where small waves were lapping. By 2PM the specs had coalesced in quiescent locations. Walked about 50% of zone and blooms in every small protected location. Checked again at 2:30 PM and some had already dissipated. Water temp was 73 early in the day and around 75 at 2PM.Air temp 68
