Bloom Description
Volunteer reported: We were out in the boat, noticed the HAB developing along our shore line. Watched it slowly disappear as we got out to the middle of the lake and didn't see it at the Goose Watch Winery dock. Returning home, streaks had developed the closer we got to shore (1000 ft. off shore) and we saw them south to Aurora and north to Carr's Cove. Wind was out of the SE about 2mph so the water along the east shore was flat calm and able to warm up undisturbed. Lots of grass clumps in open water, some of which has washed up on the east shore. Some foam. Sunny, air temps near 75 F mid-afternoon.
