Bloom Description

2026 PRIORITY ZONE: Harris Park- identified by Cayuga County Health Department as a sample-collection site. Volunteer reported: Streaks of HABs over wide spread area all long entire Harris Park shoreline, extending out 20 feet or more into the lake. Temperature air is about 83. Smog from Canadian fires has created an overcast effect. Winds are light, maybe 4 mph.
