Though loosely defined, these two flow categories provide a useful approximation of the impact of runoff on water quality.

SAMPLING SPECIFICS- Access from footpath heading north where Texas Ln turns into Lisa Ln. Sample on the right side (upstream) of where the path crosses the brook. If you look in this direction, you will see a reddish bridge further along the brook.; SITE NOTES- Navigate to: 214 Texas Ln, Ithaca, NY 14850. The brook does not show up on google maps but it is Renwick Brook. Navigation takes you to a specific address but just park on the street (the address just brings you to the correct location).
